It's clearly his best work since School of the Flower, maybe even better. It would be a lie if I said I didn't enjoy his "studio" records, but I genuinly prefer his more homerecorded output. And this new is really great.

Tha's great news. I agree that his style gels very well with the enviroment around him. I'm not sure lo-fi is a term I'd ever use for Six Organs of Admittance though, and I'm not saying you meant home-recorded that way. Ben Chasny's playing kicks an enormous amount of ass by any standard, I just think that his playing is best suited to room temperature and a suitably low-key atmosphere.
