UBL was a driving figure of Jihad back when you kids were pissing yourselves over ninja turtles.
whether or not you choose to believe, on a daily basis, the lie-machine that made him, the US had no room for fuck ups on this one. all it would take is a videocamera and a newspaper.
that said, although there's no doubt in my mind that "they got him", I wouldn't be shocked to find out in 30 years that they kept him alive and in a very dark hole.
