Skyrim is too much like a swords-and-sorcery version of Fallout 3. Everywhere I've gone I'm constantly reminded of Fallout 3. Even some of the bandits ridiculously resemble the raiders from Fallout 3! I'm disappointed about that, to be honest. I'm not enjoying it as much as Oblivion. You'd think Bethseda would've used a different game engine to distinguish it from other titles, which it has done in the past, but this time it's clear the decision was made to lazily mod Fallout 3 to fit within the fantasy potboiler parameters of the Elder Scrolls universe. In fact the graphics look worse than Oblivions'! Some improvements have been made in the gameplay, but that's a moot point when you look at the bigger picture.
