No, what he means is that we talked about doing it on the board...therefore Encouraging the behavior generally (i.e. planting the idea in the minds of the populace).
At no time did I encourage anyone (besides Hayden) to call.
The only reason I thought of it was because Hayden said something offensive and then I replied "I'M CALLING CHRIS HABIB!" As if every time someone said something offensive, I would call him up to whine about it. The idea of which is comical because it sounds like how some people on the board operate.
And then after that, I was like "hmmmm...I wonder if he's listed in the phone book". And, lo and behold, he was. Since Hayden and I had pranked called the Mates of State (an indie pop band) before this, I decided to share my findings with him, and then prodded him on.
He didn't want to do it (and I didn't either), but maybe someone else did?
