Same. They're still my all time favourite band, although I haven't been listenening much to them for years now. The last two SY albums didn't do it for me and the only times I was really excited about seeing them live in the last 5 years was with the DDN shows, that can't be good.
I haven't bothered listening to Thurston's latest acoustic album yet and I probably never will as I didn't like the one before that either. Still love the old SY stuff and I enjoy most of their side projects and solo stuff, although I no longer feel the need to hear every collaboration or noise cassette at this point.

The main reason I'm on this forum is out of habit I guess... been around pretty much since the start of this forum 10 years ago. God, the amount of bandwith I must've costed them.

I really liked Sonic Nurse when it came out, although it's probably the first one that I lost interest in fairly quickly (after a few months). Saw them 4 times on that tour and those were all really great shows.

I was disappointed with RR (like many it seems) and although imo The Eternal was a lot better, it never gave me that "weird, nervous, energetic euphoric feeling" that foreverasskiss mentioned.
