You don't like The Fall? Or the Happy Mondays? Or The Fall? Or MC Tunes? Or The Fall? Or The Smiths? Or The Fall? Or Nine Black Alps? Or THE FALL?

The only downsides to Manchester are the lack of charity shops, antique shops and antiquarian bookshops. But it's easy to get a train from Manchester to lots of places that have them.

Liverpool is very good for museums and art galleries (I love the Tate especially) and OK for antiquarian bookshops (Reids, on Mount Pleasant, is very nice). But if I was going to move, I'd want to move further away. You don't have a professional cricket club, although any cricket at all is a good thing. Probe Records has always been a favourite shop.

I hear the people from Quiggins have found somewhere else to go to, which is good.
