I've always judged intelligence by an individuals ability to form their own opinions. This isn't to say I agree with every thought provoking opinion I hear, but I have utmost appreciation for the process in which ones goes about forming their own opinions (i.e....not only reading books/researching, but actually thinking about what is read and not always taking it as absolute truth without further investigation). Most probably don't do this. probably why so many ignorant people still think Darwin said man came from ape. So sad.
