2 E-40
11 ALBUMS: Grit & Grind (2002); Breakin' News (2003); My Ghetto Report Card (2006); The Ball Street Journal (2008); Revenue Retrievin': Day Shift (2010); Revenue Retrievin': Night Shift (2010); Revenue Retrievin': Overtime Shift (2011); Revenue Retrievin': Graveyard Shift (2011); The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil (2012); The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 2 (2012); The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 3 (2012)
WHY: E-40 raps better in middle age than your favorite rapper did as a teenager. Though he occasionally makes some commercial concessions (see his Lil Jon period, his T-Pain period); 40's records consistently forge ahead in a weird world of hypersyllabic tongue twisters, slaptastic beats, and hyphyriffic minimalism, often courtesy of his beat-making son Droop-E. One of the most unique and singular voices in rap history - and he's got three more full-length albums coming this year while young Tumblr bucks are still making their follow-up mixtapes.
POTENTIAL STREAK-ENDER: Tries to put out a new album a month and collapses in a hyphy-induced heap. C.W.

Props! This streak should be extended back further to include In A Major Way (1995) The Hall of Game (1996) The Element of Surprise (1998) Charlie Hustle (1999) and Loyalty and Betrayal (2000).. Essentially e-40 hasn't put out a single bad album in 16 years!!
and in truth, I'd say that EJSTNS for Sonic Youth killed the 1980s streak which was only picked up again since Washing Machine
