my mom has ahd a hysterectomy. my aunt has had the mastectomy.
it is not just a bag of flesh wit fat cells in it. there are lymph nodes, nerves, large blood vessell,s not to mention mammary glands. It is a very very traumatic surgery to have to do, and it IS compareable to losing your pecker, or your scrotum.
