Time is relative.
The faster you go the slower time flows.
If you travel at the speed of light then time essentially stops. It speeds up again as you slow down.
tests with highly accurate atomic cesium clocks have shown this. two perfectly synchronized clocks, one at a train station, and one on a high speed bullet train, traveling upwards of 200mph. Even this comparatively slow rate of speed affected the clocks. the one on the train ran slower, and was a few microseconds behind the one left on the train station.
