These images posted on the drcarlsonalbion tumblr of Dylan's "favorite tube amp ever... originally part of military movie projector." After not very much poking around on eBay, I found a vintage military projector with a very similar looking panel:

I have thought about doing something like that with a projector from a flea market, but lack the electronic skills to do such a conversion. Les Paul used film projector amps and speakers in his early experiments with electric guitars.
