It's a decent album, it doesn't sound like they're trying to hard to sound like themselves like so many other reunion records, and it sincerely sounds like a sincere continuation of Among My Swans, but alas, I didn't feel that was their strongest record, so neither is this new one. In truth, I think both the Hope Sandoval and the Warm Inventions records were better, more creative.
