heard the news a little while ago. pretty fucking sad, but i had given him up for dead months ago already, when he was taken ill, so it's not such a shock at this point. still, huge loss for everyone.

i saw him once in person speaking to a large audience. he was as amazing as you'd think. i can't honestly say i remember what he talked about after all these years, but his charisma was genuine and immense.
