I love music but generally find it hard to talk about it, because it seems to me, unless you know music theory (and I don't), and the right terminology, it's kind of content-free, without "meaning" proper, and untranslatable. In other words-- while I'm sensorily equipped to enjoy music a lot, I'm intellectually ill-equipped to talk or write about it.

I do have a good memory of the things I read though, and I remember the reviews people here wrote for The Eternal were mixed, and favorable in the aggregate, but far from stellar [eta: my own personal opinion was overall negative, so i'm not skewing my recollection of the group reviews to fit my opinion if that's what you meant.]
