I am willing in some cases to make exceptions for drummers. They are the athletes in bands, and deserve some slack. Most of the time they are like newscasters behind a desk anyway, and we have no idea what they look like from the waist down.

Shorts seemed to be big with a few late 80s long-haired hardcore/punk/grunge bands, especially in Seattle.
