I don't think that its about Mexico not keeping possession so much as not being ABLE to keep possession. And to be sure, you are totally right, after the Dutch missed what seemed like the 1000th corner kick I said to myself, "Its sheer MATH, the Dutch almost HAVE to make one of these..."
