Apparently Zola Jesus is a bit of a bitch. That's what I take away from friends who've run into her, or known her.
I consider her a pop artist already. She can name drop and talk about noise all day, but there's really very little of it in her music. Just enough to make it an "alternative" to pop, but not enough for me to buy the "I'm a sophisticated noise rock chick" act. I like her music, but she is not some kind noise guru.
And why the hell is she just now developing an opinion on artists like Eminem and Rhianna? We've known Rhianna was tits since Umbrella. I wonder what she'll do when she realizes Beyoncé is a thing... Probably cause a five car pile up on the interstate.
