A great description. Agree, but not with the 'surprising' bit. TC is never bad in a role, even in Eyes Wide Shut (I used to hate him in that but el symbols convinced me otherwise). He's a very good actor but his general persona can be really irritating. He's not 'likeable', which makes him a hard sell in nice-guy roles. Am I the only one who thinks the Bond franchise has missed the world's biggest trick in casting him as a villain?
