and what did you get? 00s culture was even more hyper conservative and positive than zombie reagans alzhiemer dementia hallucination/memory of it. in fact positivity and cheeriness became MANDATORY and dissenters are punished as mentally ill and lose their jobs.

so we havent made any progress and the idea of culture is part of the problem.
