Agreed and that's entirely my point! We can't say anything the Warriors are doing now is historical until we have more time. If they lose in the Finals this year then what? In this hyperbole era of NBA folks are too quick to pass around historical crowns
For example sure, what the Heat did by going to four consecutive Finals for first time since 1960s was unique but we won't know if its historical until well, no other teams match it
So we have to wait..

Warriors wanna act like you get one ring and they give you the key to the NBA
Did Mavs get that when they beat Miami? Do the 2004 Pistons get that for beating Shaq amd Kobe? Hardly..

So let's just wait and see before calling these Warriors anything other than a very very very good bball team.
