Ok, here you go truncated:
1)locate the tool named ''elliptical marquee'' this should be on the top left corner of your tools palette
2) starting at the corner of your target selection, click, hold and drag, this will make a circular/ellipitcal shape on your desired selection. You may have to try it a few times to get it precise.
3)once you reached your desired selection type following key sequence: shift+ctrl (apple command if on a mac)+i. Now type the following sequence: ctrl+x, this will cut the pixels and you will have nothing but your desired image.
4)Open your other image or flyer in a new window
5) toggle over to your image that you just edited and use the grab tool, located next to the marquee tools, I believe this looks like a hand.
6)simply click on your logo and drag it to your other image, now you have merged the images and place the logo wherever you want it to be.
