geronotcracies are enabled by technological progress to persist and have low birth rates, they vote for the far right because to their senile brains liberalism = young people, novelty etc. stuff they need to hate for their psychological stability because they are dying, unwanted and corrupted by having to lose their innocence due to the exposure to too much wild reality over time.
they are too stupid to see the agenda of destructive capitalist rapaciousness that funds the right to enact its legislation.
also the hatred for liberalism is hatred of the poor who have no voice yet are subjected to the voices of others and only ever a part of the audience. its a hatred for communicative capitalism.
