speaking of mad science... watch out for soldering fumes yo. use lead-free when possible since you're not well-ventilated (basement and all) and if you must use lead take it outside. also watch the rosin.

I'm not sure what DB15 n stuff are really used for. But that's what these things used.
As for the soldering, I'll definitely take that precaution...though for the sticks, I don't think there will be too much soldering being done. I'm gonna have quick disconnects on the buttons/sticks so I won't have to go through that trouble every time I need to change one.
