A few years back I saw Leon Redbone. His contract stated that no
musical act was to open for him. So the promoter took full advantage of the loophole and had a magician open for him. Redbone was reportedly pleased, saying a magician was the perfect opening act for him. And while I'm not really that into magicians, the guy was great.
Back to the topic: I have a choice this Thursday between Warpaint and The Joy Formidable. Nothing at all against Warpaint but I'm going to see The Joy Formidable.
