I'd watch an entire show devoted to either of those female Timelords/half-Timelords. Absolutely. So what's the rub?
I guess I'd be a little taken aback if Clark Kent suddenly became, like, Chloe Kent, and Superman became a chick (we already have Supergirl and even Superwoman), but there's a lot more flexibility with the Doctor. Maybe that makes me a sexist (the taken-abackness) but I say nope.
