Alright, you cats over there in the States can do more than whatever I can do from here to prevent the FCC and the (Republican) Congress from destroying Net Neutrality. The vote is in TWO DAYS — make some noise now.

The FCC will be voting on Ajit Pai's plan to gut net neutrality in just two days.

We need to ring the phones in Congress OFF THE HOOK to stop his plan. Click here to make a call.

In the last few days, several key lawmakers have come out against Pai's plan. We need to overwhelm Congress with phone calls to create a critical mass of lawmakers telling the FCC to slow down or stop the vote. That’s where you come in.

Ajit Pai is so arrogant, he joked last week at a telecom industry event about being a "corporate shill" for Verizon. Verizon thought it was hilarious, but the internet is not laughing. Pai is supposed to be working in the public interest, not hobnobbing and "joking" with Big Cable insiders.

That's why we must flood congressional offices with phone calls in defense of net neutrality, and get them to act NOW. As the body that provides oversight to the FCC, Congress can pull the plug on this whole thing.

We need phones on Capitol Hill to be ringing OFF THE HOOK for the next 48 hours. After you’ve made your call to Congress, here are some ideas for how else you can help:

— Change your Facebook status to "Married" (to net neutrality) and add a comment linking to BattleForTheNet.com.

— Change your Twitter and Instagram featured website to BattleForTheNet.com and post frequently using the content.

— Write a blog post or email your friends telling them why you care about the free and open internet and asking them to take action at BattleForTheNet.com.

— Sites and apps, send a push notification or drive action using our widgets and banners.

High-traffic sites all over the net are using our call tool to drive their users to call Congress and tell them to stop Trump's FCC from breaking the internet, but this is an all hands on deck moment. We need EVERYONE to join in if we want to stop the vote to kill net neutrality.
