"Not that much" still equates to "occasional," which is more than enough to keep me away.
Even if it's not shit, the average kitchen clog is pretty revolting.
Plumbing work is no fun, but I have learned a lot about it from having an old house. Haven't had to hire one yet, but that day may come, and when it does I will be happy to pay.
