Thanks for the c&p. Lots of good points.

Something that article doesn't really go into though is the culture of press leaks that've plagued the club since Sullivan, et al took ovr, and which are used mainly to undermine managers. That was a big issue during the protests in 17/18 and it seemed like the owners had gotten the message the season after, but the minute things began to go wrong this season, they started again.

So the problem that'll be there at West Ham for as long as the current owners are in place is that no one who agrees to work with them will ever be seen by the fans as anything other than a £££ chaser. Even when Moyes frustrated me with his negative tactics during his 1st spell at WH, I still respected him but the fact he's willing to go through all that humiliation again, knowing who he's working for, means I'm not sure that I do anymore.

I'm in that horrible position of supporting a team that I fundamentally dislike.
