Nothing exists in a vacuum. I'd say spreading harmful misinformation and showing continuing support for people that are opposed to basic democratic principles and human rights issues is many steps above just a differing opinion. This is something that affects the lives of many. Voicing one's displeasure with obviously malicious content is quite understandable. Sometimes the language gets, well, drastic in the process. You may find that displeasing. But I can assure you, most of the "cussing out" I've seen here doesn't even begin to approach the ugliness that is contained within the links and images I've seen from the pro-Trump camp here. Cussing is a temporary outburst of discontent and frustration, deliberate misinformation in favor of "strong leaders" and to the detriment of mostly minorities (whether explicit or implicit) or generally marginalized people is a whole different level.
I've given up expecting fruitful conversations, so I'll leave it at that.
