anyway regardless of superpowers or no: i don't know how comics are these days but back in my childhood american comic heroes were all about "crime." in other words--they were cops. cops with capes. the cops of capitalism. don't question the norms!

 


i mean dont get me wrong, i have converted religions now, i lived under socialism and it sucked, and learned to love capitalism, with all its horrible flaws, hahahaaa, im a sellout, yeah, but... these "heroes" never questioned the social order, structural injustices, invasions, workers massacres, abuses, poverty... they only defended private property.


They’ve changed Superman’s “motto” to “Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow,” which some people are mad about. But fuck them.

I love Superman, but ouch for your friend.
