i was looking at patti smith tickets the other day and they were like $500 lol. i love her, the ticket is not worth $500 to me, but i really wish her a sold out show with all my heart so she doesnt have to sleep in the subway again as she claimed

almost. i used to know people who would religiously listen to cornelius cardew or folk music while abjuring stockhausen or wagner or rocknroll on a purely ideological basis. they aren't "filthy" though, just... faithful, i guess?
