Isn't this basically what the entire Republic is about? I just took Intro to Philosphy last semester and never want to answer this question again.

No, but I think under the circumstance, given that you had a "good" reason to, especially if you include the elimination of the fear of getting caught as well (because it would still be there even if you knew), then it would be much more tempting than we might think. I'm still gonna say I wouldn't, though, cause I can't imagine working up the nerve to do it.
