This is not so true anymore, the one-sidedness that is. And I think the NCAA is making an effort at making smaller schools more competitive. It is very possible to see TCU in a BCS bowl game this year, while you're naming names.

Also, concerning the old SW conference (talk about one-sided), I too didn't like seeing my beloved conference (Big 8) go either. I'd of rather seen TCU join the Big 12.

I just think the college game is a lot more fun.
