I'm not going to say never, but the ammount of emotions in a threesome are a pretty bad mix. Plus, I feel guilty enough, I don't need the guilt of a threesome on my shoulders.
If I had a girlfriend and she suggested getting another guy, I'd be hugely opposed, and I'd probably dump her.
If I had a girlfriend and she suggesting bringing another girl, I think I'd be pretty hesitant because I know there could be consequences, but I could probably be convinced if she wanted to do it enough. Another girl wouldn't be as threatening to her as a man would be in my eyes. Although to her I'm sure another girl would be extremely threatening.
If another couple (girl girl or guy girl) asked me to join them in a threesome, I'd probably be more inclined. The 3rd person in these sort of things has to deal with the last consequences.
I myself would never suggest a threesome to someone though.
