the indie shit is boring, TV on the Radio fricking rocks. Check out Desperate Babes, Bloodthirsty Youth. A seriously rocking rocking album. TV on the Radio is one of the few bands with incredibly awesome vocals between Tunde and Kyp.

I've been to those indie shit concerts (modest mouse) and I really felt like I wasted my money. Seeing TVOTR live videos on youtube, you can really feel the energy without being there. That really impresses me.

They toured with Bauhaus and NIN this summer. Unfortunately Pittsburgh got Peaches instead of TVOTR. I still wanted to see Bauhaus, but I couldn't justify paying 50 dollars to see just an opening band.

I want to see them live sooooo bad.
Just make a road trip and go to philly or NYC. It'll be worth it.
