Candy's book is pretty, but not worth what i paid for it. It's just a post-humous collection of some of her diary entries, some letters, drawings, scraps, things like that. Most of it's not very interesting. Lovely presentation and some great pictures, though.
I thought she'd be more interesting, but from the diary entries and letters you get the impression s/he was actually pretty shallow.. mainly just obsessed with movie stars and being stereotypically girlie. A lot of the entries are half-written letters to her favourite stars, glamour doodles of herself and reminders to herself to re-bleach her roots.
