Sadly enough, and I know this is against everything halloween, but last year I wandered around, not dressed up (!), and collected candy. No one seemed to have a problem with it though, which is quite disheartening.
Not sure if I'll even venture out this year. I do like to wander around the neighborhood and check out other people's costumes, though.
