EDIT - Wow, I just googled Eric Bogle, and I had never realised that he was a fairly contemporary artist (okay, 1960's). I had always assumed that his songs were written during the first world war.

I'd definitely go with Mr Bogle's And the band played waltzing matilda, were it an option. That appears on quite a few Irish records, in spite of being about Australians. Nice to see some love for mr Bogle.
