Refused is not 'someone', it's a band. How can you measure a bands 'life' if it still exists through fans? They're more popular now than when the band were playing shows. Therefore no comparison to Kurt Cobain as his heart has stopped, Refused's has not. Kurt Cobain is dead, but his music is not. The term "Refused are fucking dead" comes from a message left on one of the band members answering machines from a right wing fool who didn't/doesn't agree with their politics. Nothing to do with the state of the bands musical existence per se.
