coincidentially enough, i was talking to my lady friend yesterday about rem, it's not so much a dislike towards rem, some of their songs are quite good and all, but the thing is that every time i hear one of their songs i feel like it's so much of an effort it makes me lazy, so i rather not listen to them. if i was somewhere and they had the radio and rem would come up, i wouldn't have so much of a problem with that, as opposed to say, u2 or robbie williams, who would inspire me to try and stab my eardrums in horror.
