People only hate Courtney because she wouldn't give out all of Kurt's songs and writings. Kurt Cobain did not want to be a super-star in the way he became after he died. He always got annoyed by the fact that he couldn't even buy a fucking carton of milk without being swamped by pop-culture fanfreaks. It would be disrespectful to Kurt to have given out all of his work. He did not want the overexposure alive or dead.
