As most are aware probably,
the change
has put more of a leash of oversight on Bush/Cheney which is good. But yes, since the Democratic majority is not large enough to carry a two-thirds vote in the Senate or House to override a Presidential veto, we will not see much in the way of sweeping reforms. Most democratic candidates aren't too far out left these days anyway and are far more centrist, but that does lead at least to the possibility of more bipartisan cooperation.
