A special limited edition collection of songs mostly culled from and only otherwise available via Michael Gira's website-only CD releases, 'Solo Recordings at Home' and 'I Am Singing to You from My Room'. Also includes three recordings only, so far, available on this release. Raw, naked and highly emotive outpourings of transcendental bliss from one of the most gifted songwriters of the past couple of decades or more. As described by the man himself, "I recorded these songs alone, at my desk, in most cases just as I was writing them - me and an acoustic guitar and one stereo microphone. I've often found that the true 'feel' of a song exists then, right at the point it's first pulled together, stronger than at any later point." Only 2000 will be made available, in high-quality packaging, complete with insert, and pressed on heavier-than-standard vinyl. Out late November 2006.
