new york people are alot less cold than say......any english city person you might meet.
i never went to nyc in the old days when it was whores and shootings. i wish i had. i really wish id checked out times square the way it was 15 years ago. today times square is one of my least favorite places.
but nyc is great. if you are comparing it to before then you may have a different opinion, but im not. ive nothing to compare it too. i find the people nice. the yuppies are everywhere. theres a hell of a lot of starbucks there but i never had to go into one, and i notice more interesting people than boring yuppies.
