squiers are shit, yup..but they've got some weird stuff like the vista series venus (ugly!) haha, or the '51, jamaster..i dunno..i guess they're nice guitars to mess around with, i've always felt that if you want a cheap guitar but you love fenders just go for a MIM or a CIJ and replace the pickups over time if you're not statisfied, i play a left handed CIJ mustang ('69 RI, took me ages to find a dealer in belgium that could/wanted to import it.
my backup guitar is a left handed epi standard LP in honeyburst, it's rubbish.
i'm after an archtop now..if i win the lottery, gretsches are yum.
or a 360 ric. =P
