Thanks a lot, Sonic buddies. It was really nice to come home and see this thread - made me feel all emotional (and even more attached to the board than I already do!).
I've had a great day so far - we spent the day at the Tate Gallery in Liverpool (modern art gallery), saw two very good ehibitions: Henry Moore, whose work I know well; and Marie-Louise von Motesiczky, who I was new to. Also, one superb exhibition called Making History, about the history of art as documentation. Also had lunch at their wonderful cafe, then saw some family for tea etc. My kind of day. Soon, I'll log off for a while and drink some cider.
