I've been listening to the Sunn0))) / Boris CD this morning, and I was amazed to find that I love it. I saw Sunn0))) live two or three years ago, and wasn't very impressed, but this CD is wonderful. A CD that I wouldn't have bought myself and am now very pleased to have - what better present tcould there be?
The vinyl I won't be able to listen to for another month or so, but the mixtape I'll listen to when my girlfriend is at aerobics. It has a cool-sounding tracklist with a lot of stuff on it that I've dithered about giving a try in the past, so I'm looking forward to hearing it.
The whole package came wrapped in a very cool two-part collage that may well find its way into a frame and hung on the wall in my "den" when my girlfriend and I move into our new house next month.
And the wrapping paper was very cool too. All in all I'm a very happy chappy.
