I regretted saying that as soon as I'd written it. We could discuss all day the definition of a cult novel. I suppose I meant that I thought LOTF was too popular and 'mainstream' to be considered cult. But then you could say the same about Catch 22, and I wouldn't question that book's status as a cult novel. Oh, how confusing.
