those are the ones i absolutely hate ! haha
i like thick plectrums, but it depends on what kind of style, or what the song asks for really,
for jazz and lead stuff i'll go for really thick plectrums (1mm + or big stubbies) and for regular rock/surf i like nylon 0.73 dunlops
for bass i usually stick with 1.07 or 1.14mm dunlop nylons...and why nylons ? i think they have a better grip, not only for your strumming hand but also on the strings, they give better definition and are flexible.. in my opinion.
