Then we must strive to give it new life.
Yesterday we went to Chester where we fed the squirrels, walked by the river, went to te art gallery, had coffee and cake, bought a load of old books (eight or nine), had a very nice chat with another customer whilst searching, had more coffee and cake, and came home. Extra-spicy chilli pizza for tea followed by some cider and dvd entertainment.
Today we went to church, then went round to my parents who are babysitting my niece. Now we're home. Tonight there's a special interdenominational service at a different church, featuring the Bishop of Shrewsbury, because it's 'all churches together' week or something. We'll record
Time Team and wath it when we get back, with a good old-fashioned chip batch.
Weekends are not very healthy, food wise.
